The Torque Solution IRS Subframe Alignment Kit (TS-FRD-888) addresses a common issue found in the modern Mustang chassis: excessive factory tolerances. From the factory, the subframe mounting holes are often significantly larger than the bolts, which can lead to a misaligned rear subframe. This misalignment results in inconsistent suspension geometry and unpredictable handling characteristics during aggressive cornering or acceleration.
These precision-engineered inserts slide into the factory subframe mounting locations to center the IRS subframe perfectly to the chassis. By eliminating the slop in the mounting points, this kit ensures your alignment stays true and improves the overall rigidity of the rear end.
