This Tuff Country Rear Axle U-Bolt Kit (MPN 37755) is specifically engineered for second-generation Dodge Ram heavy-duty trucks utilizing 5.5-inch lift blocks. When adding significant rear lift, the factory hardware is no longer long enough to safely capture the leaf spring pack, lift block, and axle housing. These extended U-bolts provide the necessary reach and clamping force to maintain suspension geometry and safety.
Each bolt is finished in a protective zinc plating to resist corrosion and road salt, ensuring longevity and ease of maintenance. This complete kit provides the hardware necessary for the rear axle assembly, replacing worn or undersized OE components with vehicle-specific hardware designed for lifted applications.
