Turbosmart Constant Tension Clamps are engineered to maintain a secure, leak-free seal on silicone and rubber hoses through extreme thermal cycling. In high-performance engine bays, couplers and pipes expand and contract as temperatures fluctuate. These clamps utilize a unique convoluted "Spring Action Band" to provide consistent clamping force, preventing the "Compression Set" and deformation often seen with standard worm-gear clamps.
The design features a dual-bead inner shell that concentrates sealing force where it is needed most, while flanged edges prevent the clamp from cutting into or scoring soft hose compounds. This increases the service life of your induction and cooling system components by reducing localized stress and distress to the hose material.
