The Turbosmart Kompact EM Dual Port VR18 is a world-first, plug-and-play blow-off valve (BOV) upgrade designed to replace the weak factory electronic diverter valves often found on modern turbocharged engines. By combining the speed and reliability of a mechanical piston with the precise control of your vehicle's factory ECU, the Kompact EM eliminates boost leaks and prevents the common failures associated with OE plastic solenoids.
As a Dual Port model, this valve features a unique sequential port system that vents enough air to the atmosphere to provide the signature BOV sound while still recirculating air to keep the engine management system happy. This ensures crisp throttle response and consistent boost pressure without triggering a check engine light.
