Fits 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird equipped with a 4L60E transmission swap or conversion.

The UMI Performance Torque Arm Relocation Kit is a critical upgrade for high-performance third-generation F-bodies. By moving the torque arm mounting point from the transmission tailshaft to a dedicated heavy-duty crossmember, this kit protects the transmission housing from the extreme leverage and stress generated during hard launches. This relocation is essential for preventing the common issue of cracked or shattered tailshaft housings in modified vehicles.

Constructed with precision and finished in a durable red powder coat, the kit provides a more stable and secure pivot point, which improves chassis response and consistency. Note: This kit must be used with a solid one-piece polyurethane bushing (UMI Item # 3004). It is not compatible with the factory two-piece bushing design.
