The Volant Performance Pro 5 Closed Box Air Intake System is engineered to improve engine efficiency by replacing restrictive factory intake plumbing with a high-flow, heat-shielded solution. This system features a rugged cross-linked polyethylene airbox designed to insulate the filter from ambient engine heat, ensuring cooler, denser air reaches the intake tract. A signature smoked acrylic lid provides easy filter inspection while maintaining a sealed environment against dust and moisture.
At the core of the 15160 system is the Pro 5 air filter. This high-performance, 5-layer oiled cotton gauze filter is constructed with premium textiles pleated between aluminum screens. It provides 98% filtration efficiency and is designed for service intervals up to 40,000 miles, depending on driving conditions.
