Fits select 1997-2004 Ford F-150, F-150 Heritage, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator models. This Volant Pro5 Air Intake System (MPN 19854) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow, closed-box design that isolates the filter from power-robbing engine heat.
The system features Volant’s Pro5 air filter, constructed from 5 layers of oiled cotton gauze sandwiched between aluminum screens for maximum airflow without compromising filtration. The airbox and lid are rotationally molded from rugged CrossLink Polyethylene, providing a durable barrier against heat soak. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process that utilizes factory mounting points and can typically be completed in under an hour with basic hand tools.
