This Wehrli Custom Fabrication (WCFab) Top Outlet Billet Thermostat Housing and Upper Coolant Pipe Kit is designed to optimize engine bay space and cooling efficiency on LBZ and LMM Duramax engines. By rerouting the coolant flow upward and forward from the thermostat, this kit eliminates the factory upper radiator hose that typically obstructs the driver-side valve cover and coolant return pipe. This revised layout is essential for mounting race cover style or BorgWarner SXE turbochargers in the valley, providing the necessary clearance for larger aftermarket setups and improved access to fuel system components.

The kit features a precision CNC-machined billet aluminum thermostat upper housing finished in a durable Gloss Black powder coat. It remains fully compatible with factory VGT style turbochargers and is configured for single CP3 pump setups.
