Correct the inherent weaknesses of the S197 chassis three-link rear suspension with the Whiteline KTA205 adjustable rear upper control arm. The factory arm and compliant bushings are prone to axle tramp and brake hop during performance driving. This Whiteline upgrade utilizes the longer arm geometry Ford introduced in 2011 to stabilize the rear end and improve traction under hard acceleration and braking.
Constructed from high-strength 4130 Chromoly, this arm features a synthetic elastomer bushing designed for articulation without the harshness of spherical bearings. The integrated eccentric crush tube allows for precise pinion angle and instant center adjustment without the structural compromise of a traditional turnbuckle. The heavy-duty mount provides a universal fit across the S197 range, ensuring increased rigidity and power delivery to the wheels.
