The Wilwood High-Volume Aluminum Master Cylinder is engineered for high-performance braking systems requiring maximum fluid capacity and reliable pedal response. Each unit features a high-pressure die-cast body constructed from high-grade aluminum, designed to withstand the rigors of racing and street performance. With a total capacity of 8.2 ounces, this master cylinder offers the largest integral reservoir on the market—providing 26% more volume than standard designs.
Equipped with 1-7/16" of piston travel, this cylinder provides an essential safety margin when paired with large-piston multi-pot calipers. The assembly includes heavy-duty internal springs to ensure rapid piston retraction and consistent performance. A formed steel lid and bellows-type gasket provide a moisture-tight seal to protect the brake fluid from contamination.
