The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R (SL4R) front big brake kit is engineered to provide significant stopping power for Jeep enthusiasts running larger wheel and tire packages. At the core of this system is the high-strength, four-piston Superlite 4R caliper, which provides firm pedal feel and consistent clamping force. This kit features 12.19-inch drilled rotors designed to improve thermal dissipation and reduce weight compared to factory equipment.

These kits are application-specific for a simplified installation and are fully compatible with the OE master cylinder output and ABS functions. While designed as a direct fit for earlier spindle configurations (1984-1989), these kits can be fitted to select 1990-2006 YJ and TJ models if retrofitted with the earlier 1984-1989 YJ spindles.
