Wilwood Pad Shim Kits are engineered to isolate and dampen vibrations transmitted between the brake rotor and the pad. This specialized construction is an industry-standard solution for reducing Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) in performance and street vehicle platforms. By creating a physical barrier between the piston and the pad backing plate, these shims help eliminate harmonic resonance and brake squeal.
