Fits select 1990-1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Galant VR-4, Eagle Talon TSi, and Plymouth Laser RS. This Wiseco Professional Series forged piston kit is engineered for high-output turbo builds where reliability and strength are paramount. Forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons offer superior tensile strength compared to standard alloys, making them ideal for heavy to severe duty racing applications.
Each kit includes Wiseco’s proprietary ArmorGlide skirt coating, which significantly reduces friction and prevents seizure under high thermal loads while providing quieter engine operation. The crowns are fully machined and feature an anti-detonation groove to protect the ring land by disrupting pressure waves. Forced pin oiling ensures constant lubrication at the wrist pin, extending the life of the rotating assembly during high-RPM use.
