Vibrant Performance tank weld bungs provide a reliable, high-flow solution for custom tank fabrication. Machined from 6061 aluminum, this 2.75-inch OD bung is ideal for use as a filler neck or inspection port on custom fuel cells, oil tanks, or coolant reservoirs. The updated flange design is specifically engineered to resist warping during the TIG welding process, maintaining thread integrity and a flush seal against the tank surface.
- Material: Lightweight 6061 Aluminum
- Bore Size: 2.75-inch Outer Diameter
- Finish: Anodized Black threaded cap
- Included Hardware: Threaded cap and sealing O-ring
- Manufacturer Part Number: 11295
Installation Tip: To protect the threads and O-ring from heat damage and distortion, do NOT weld the bung with the threaded cap installed. Remove the cap and O-ring entirely before beginning the welding process.
