Replacing soft, factory rubber bushings with the Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex Master Bushing Set is an essential upgrade for maintaining chassis stability on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8. Factory rubber components are prone to excessive deflection under high cornering loads or aggressive launches, which causes dynamic alignment shifts and wheel hop. These Hyper-Flex polyurethane bushings provide the rigidity required to maintain consistent caster and camber settings while withstanding the harsh conditions of track and street use.
Formulated to resist deterioration from UV exposure, road salt, and undercar chemicals such as oil and coolant, this polyurethane kit is designed to outlast OEM rubber components by a 5-to-1 ratio. This set improves steering response, braking control, and overall suspension predictability without the extreme harshness of solid metal bearings.
