Fits 1989-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Galant, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser equipped with the 4G63/T engine.
AEM Tru-Time adjustable camshaft gears are a critical tuning component for high-performance 4G63 engines, particularly those featuring milled heads, forced induction, high compression, or aggressive aftermarket competition cams. These gears allow for precise synchronization of cam timing to compensate for changes in deck height or to optimize the power band by advancing or retarding cam profiles in one-degree increments.
CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, these gears provide maximum durability without unnecessary weight. The belt surface is treated with a lab-proven hard-anodizing process to prevent premature wear. To ensure the settings stay locked during high-RPM operation, AEM utilizes Grade-8 six-point hex bolts with integral washer flanges for superior load distribution and repeat adjustability.
