Skunk2 Ultra Series D1 Drop-In Camshafts are engineered for enthusiasts seeking professional-tier power gains without the necessity of upgrading the factory valvetrain. These high-lift profiles are designed to optimize mid-range and top-end horsepower and torque while maintaining exceptional engine response and complete valvetrain stability. By utilizing advanced computerized simulation and modeling, Skunk2 developed the D1 profile to ensure a seamless VTEC crossover and a significantly broader powerband from idle to redline.
- Direct drop-in design; compatible with factory OEM valve springs and retainers
- CNC ground from proprietary forged tool steel cores for maximum torsional strength and durability
- Precision ground using state-of-the-art cubic-boron grinding wheels for exact tolerances
- Features hardened, wear-resistant lobes and patent-pending high-velocity profiles
- Typical performance gains of 12-15 HP; up to 20-22 HP on highly efficient engine combinations
- Suitable for naturally aspirated or high-output turbocharged K-Series builds
