The MagnaFlow OEM Grade Federal/EPA Compliant Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 51448 is engineered to replace failing factory units, resolve check engine lights, and restore factory emissions performance. This direct-fit assembly is designed for a precise bolt-on installation, featuring mandrel-bent tubing and a compact spun body design that replicates OE flow dynamics and thermal efficiency without the need for cutting or welding.
Constructed from high-strength 16-gauge 409 stainless steel, this converter is built to withstand harsh road conditions and resist corrosion. The unit features durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds and 410 stainless steel barbed hangers to ensure a secure, rattle-free fit. Each converter is developed using 3D scanning metrology to guarantee it aligns perfectly with factory mounting points and exhaust geometry.
