Fits 1964-1967 Buick, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac A-Body vehicles (including Chevelle, GTO, Skylark, and Cutlass).
QA1 Adjustable Rear Frame Supports (MPN 5283) are engineered to significantly improve handling, traction, and overall suspension predictability by eliminating unwanted chassis flex. These supports reinforce the critical area between the upper and lower trailing arm mounts, preventing the frame from twisting under heavy loads or hard cornering.
Constructed from 1-inch diameter cold rolled steel tubing, these supports are built for durability and chassis rigidity. They feature zinc-plated adjustable threaded sleeves that allow you to fine-tune the preload in the rear trailing arm mounts after the installation is complete. The design ensures ample clearance for both stock and aftermarket muffler configurations.
