The ACT SB11-HDG6 clutch kit is engineered for high-performance and race applications where rapid shifting and superior heat capacity are essential. This kit centers around the ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load and reduce deflection. Every diaphragm undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process, while precision cover stampings ensure maximum rigidity and consistent engagement throughout the life of the clutch.

Paired with the HD pressure plate is ACT’s 6-pad, spring-centered race disc. Designed to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh track conditions, this disc features wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings for increased strength. While engagement is significantly harsher than a standard street disc, the 6-pad design allows for faster gear changes and can absorb higher heat loads in larger clutch sizes.
