The ACT SB8-HDG6 clutch kit is engineered for high-performance and racing applications where rapid shifting and increased heat capacity are required. This kit pairs ACT's Heavy Duty (HD) pressure plate with a 6-pad spring-centered race disc, providing a significant increase in clamp load while reducing deflection during high-RPM operation.
- Heavy Duty Pressure Plate: Utilizes a four-stage heat-treated diaphragm and precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency while maximizing clamp load.
- 6-Pad Spring-Centered Race Disc: Features wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh racing conditions.
- Performance Characteristics: Designed for faster shifting and superior heat absorption compared to street discs; provides aggressive engagement suitable for track use.
