The South Bend Stage 2 Endurance clutch kit is engineered for drivers who demand higher torque capacity without sacrificing daily drivability. This kit replaces the restrictive factory dual-mass flywheel with a more responsive single-mass flywheel (SMF) setup, providing a more direct mechanical connection and improved throttle response. Designed to handle the increased output of modified 2.0T TSI engines, the Stage 2 Endurance series uses a hybrid friction material—typically a combination of heavy-duty organic and ceramic—to provide smooth engagement alongside superior heat dissipation for spirited driving and occasional track use.
