The AEM 21-817C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to reduce intake restriction by replacing the factory air box and filter with a high-flow, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. This system is designed to relocate the air filter lower and further forward to draw in cooler, denser air from outside the engine bay, optimizing the charge air entering the throttle body for improved combustion efficiency.
This intake utilizes an oversized AEM DryFlow synthetic air filter, featuring oil-free media that is both washable and reusable. The dry media allows for easier maintenance while providing exceptional filtration and protection against contaminants for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required. The system integrates seamlessly with your vehicle's factory PCV and vent hoses, utilizing existing spring clamps for a secure, factory-style fit.
