The aFe Power Momentum HD intake system is engineered to provide maximum airflow and filtration for the Toyota Hilux. This system features a smooth, one-piece sealed housing constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) to protect the intake charge from engine bay heat soak. The design includes a large, clear sight window for easy filter inspection without disassembling the airbox, and utilizes the factory air inlet along with an optional auxiliary air inlet for increased flow.
At the core of this system is the massive 8-inch tall Pro 10R air filter. This pre-oiled, 360-degree radial flow filter utilizes ten layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media, providing maximum dust-holding capacity and filtration efficiency for harsh off-road environments. The filter-to-housing interface is designed to minimize parts for a simplified installation process, while the computer-designed intake tube and premium bellows silicone coupling ensure a perfect fit and ample flexibility.
