The aFe Power Momentum GT cold air intake system is engineered to maximize airflow and optimize performance for the L6-3.0L twin-turbo Hurricane engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a sealed, one-piece housing constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). This durable material prevents heat soak, ensuring cooler, denser air reaches the turbochargers. The housing features a large, clear sight window for easy filter inspections without requiring disassembly and connects directly to the factory air inlet for maximum efficiency.

At the core of this system is the Pro 5R filter, an 8-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow air filter. It utilizes five layers of progressively finer pre-oiled cotton gauze media to deliver maximum airflow and filtration efficiency. The two-piece intake tube design, paired with a premium silicone bellows coupler, allows for easier installation, accommodates engine movement under load, and simplifies long-term maintenance.
