The aFe Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow and thermal management for the BMW S58 engine. This system replaces restrictive factory airboxes with two custom-molded, heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) housings. A patent-pending filter-to-housing interface reduces the total number of components for a streamlined installation, while large, clear sight windows allow for quick filter inspections without disassembling the intake system.

This kit includes dual 6-1/2" tall 360-degree radial flow air filters utilizing oil-free Pro DRY S media. With three layers of progressive synthetic porosity, these filters provide high filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity for street use without the maintenance requirements of oiled filters. Computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tubes ensure maximum volumetric flow and heat-soak resistance while maintaining precise fitment within the engine bay.
