The aFe Power Momentum GT cold air intake system is engineered to maximize airflow and performance for your BMW. At the heart of this system is the Pro 5R air filter, a 7-1/2” tall 360-degree radial flow filter featuring five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze oiled media. This design provides maximum airflow for street and track use while maintaining excellent filtration efficiency. The system features a smooth, one-piece sealed housing made from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) and a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube that resists heat soak and maintains high-velocity air delivery.

Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting locations and the factory strut brace with no modifications required. The innovative, patent-pending filter-to-housing interface uses fewer parts for a more reliable seal and easier assembly. A large, clear sight window allows you to inspect the filter condition without disassembling the intake box.
