The aFe Power Momentum GT cold air intake system (MPN 50-70060R) is engineered to optimize airflow and thermal management for the BMW B58 turbocharged engine. This system features a smooth, one-piece sealed housing constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) to minimize heat soak. The patent-pending filter-to-housing interface simplifies the assembly, using fewer parts for a more reliable, airtight seal than traditional multi-piece designs.

Included is a 6-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow air filter utilizing Pro 5R oiled media. With five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze, this filter is optimized for maximum airflow and performance during street and track use. A built-in clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without requiring any disassembly. The system is rounded out with a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube and a durable aluminum heat shield to isolate the air charge from high engine bay temperatures.
