The aFe POWER Momentum GT Pro 5R intake system is engineered to optimize airflow and heat management for the 5th Gen Ram 1500. This system features a sealed, one-piece housing manufactured from cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which is highly resistant to heat soak. A built-in clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without disassembling the airbox, while an auxiliary air inlet provides additional cool air from the inner fender during high-load conditions.

At the core of this system is the Pro 5R air filter, a 360-degree radial flow filter featuring five layers of progressively finer pre-oiled cotton gauze. The filter uses a unique filter-to-housing interface that allows for maximum filter surface area and simplifies installation. The kit includes a computer-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube and premium hardware to ensure a secure, factory-style fit.
