This aFe Takeda Momentum series intake is engineered to optimize airflow for the Mazda 3.3L turbocharged inline-six. The system features a one-piece, sealed housing manufactured from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which maintains low intake air temperatures by shielding the air charge from engine bay heat. A unique, patent-pending filter-to-housing interface simplifies the assembly by reducing hardware, while the built-in clear sight window allows for instant filter status checks without disassembling the airbox.
The system includes a 7.5-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow Pro DRY S air filter. This oil-free, 3-layer synthetic media provides maximum convenience and filtration efficiency for street use, featuring an inverted top for increased surface area and longer service intervals. The dyno-tuned intake tube ensures precise fitment and calibrated airflow, secured with premium silicone couplings and stainless-steel worm gear clamps for a leak-free seal.
