The APR Carbon Fiber Intake System is a comprehensive induction upgrade designed to reduce restriction and maximize airflow to the 4.0T EA825 engine. By replacing the entire factory intake tract from the airbox to the turbocharger inlets, this system achieves a 50% reduction in pressure drop compared to the OEM configuration. This efficiency allows the turbochargers to spool faster and operate more effectively, resulting in measured gains of up to +47 AWHP and +38 AWFT-LBS on Stage 1 93 octane tuning.

The system features a high-volume carbon fiber airbox with 52% larger outlets and a washable, pleated cotton gauze filter. The highlight of the kit is the 93% larger cast aluminum turbocharger inlets, which include billet aluminum adapter rings. These rings ensure a smooth transition for the factory turbos while providing the modularity to accommodate larger aftermarket turbochargers in the future.
