The Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake improves engine efficiency by streamlining the airflow path and increasing the volume of available air. Unlike the factory intake, which utilizes restrictive baffling and a Helmholtz chamber to muffle sound at the expense of turbulence, the Dinan system uses a smooth-bore carbon fiber intake tube. This design eliminates flow disruptions, allowing the turbocharger to work more efficiently while producing a more pronounced, sporty induction sound.

This semi-open system features a 30% larger airbox and a filter with 34% more surface area than stock, ensuring the B46/B48 engine has ample breathability. The included injection-molded Air Mass Meter (AMM) housing is over 20% larger than the factory unit, further reducing intake restriction and improving throttle response across the power band.
