The Dinan Cold Air Intake system for the F90 M5 replaces the restrictive factory air boxes with high-volume, UV-coated 2x2 gloss carbon fiber housings. This system utilizes a functional secondary air inlet wishbone to draw ambient air from behind the front grilles, supplementing the factory inlets. By significantly increasing filter surface area and air box volume, this intake reduces pressure drop and improves turbo efficiency, reliability, and throttle response.
- 11% increase in total airflow (637 CFM vs 575 CFM @ 28" H2O per bank)
- 31% larger air box volume for increased capacity
- 35% increase in filter surface area (80in² per side vs 56.5in² stock)
- Constructed from premium gloss carbon fiber for superior heat deflection and durability
