To optimize the performance of the BMW twin-turbocharged V8, the Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake system replaces restrictive factory airbox lids and panel filters with high-flow components designed for maximum breathability. By enlarging the airbox lids and removing internal "U" channels, Dinan increased internal volume by 54%. This expansion allows the use of bespoke high-flow cone filters, providing a 34% increase in surface area compared to the stock equipment. The intake tract is further improved with organically shaped intake pipes that ensure a natural, unhindered flow path directly to the turbochargers.

This sealed system ensures only cold, dense outside air is utilized, improving throttle response and delivering reliable power gains across the RPM range. The lightweight carbon fiber construction provides a premium under-hood aesthetic while serving as a functional heat shield.
