The K&N 57-3046 FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing on your Chevrolet SSR to improve engine breathing. This system utilizes a rotationally-molded, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube to streamline airflow and increase the volume of air delivered to the engine. By reducing air turbulence and maintaining cooler intake temperatures with the included custom heat shield, this kit provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque.
This intake system is paired with an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter. The oiled cotton media provides exceptional filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. The entire system is engineered to bolt into existing factory mounting points, typically requiring less than 90 minutes for a complete installation with basic hand tools.
