OE exhaust components on the 6.4L Powerstroke are prone to failure due to extreme heat cycling, leading to cracked manifolds and leaking up-pipe bellows. These failures cause exhaust leaks, soot buildup, and significantly slower turbo spool. The BD Diesel Up-Pipe and Manifold Kit is a heavy-duty solution designed to restore performance and provide long-term reliability.

The exhaust manifolds are engineered from 0.25-inch thick-walled Hi-Silicon ductile iron castings to resist cracking under high EGTs. Each port is gasket-matched to maximize flow, and the assemblies are finished in high-temperature black paint. The included up-pipes are constructed from mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel with a larger diameter to reduce restriction. These pipes feature internally shielded expansion bellows for superior durability compared to factory units.
