The Cobb Stainless Steel Up-Pipe is engineered to replace the restrictive factory component, optimizing exhaust flow from the manifold to the turbocharger. By utilizing a 2-inch diameter design, this up-pipe reduces backpressure and improves turbo spool-up time, resulting in a more responsive power band and increased efficiency.
Fabricated from high-grade stainless steel, this unit is built to withstand the extreme heat cycles and vibration common in turbocharged boxer engines. The heavy-duty flanges are precision-machined to ensure a flat mating surface for a leak-free seal, maintaining factory fitment while providing a significant upgrade in durability over the original equipment.
