Manley Turbo Tuff I-Beam Connecting Rods are engineered to handle the extreme cylinder pressures of high-boost and high-horsepower applications where factory components reach their limits. Manufactured from forged 4340 vacuum degassed steel alloy, the I-beam design provides maximum structural rigidity and resistance to bending or twisting during high-RPM operation.
Every rod undergoes a rigorous manufacturing process, including shot-peening to increase fatigue life and magnetic particle inspection (MPI) to ensure the material is free of flaws. These rods are a direct performance upgrade for the R35 platform, providing the bottom-end strength necessary for serious engine builds.
