Replace the failure-prone factory plastic coolant tank with the Mishimoto Aluminum Expansion Tank. Constructed from durable, TIG-welded aluminum, this tank is engineered to withstand the extreme temperature variations that cause OEM plastic units to crack and leak over time. The wrinkle red finish provides a significant aesthetic upgrade while offering superior longevity under hood.

This tank is designed for more than just looks; it features internal baffles to prevent coolant starvation during aggressive driving. By reducing coolant sloshing during high-speed cornering, braking, and acceleration, the baffles ensure air does not enter the cooling system. For easier maintenance, Mishimoto integrated a clear sight tube to allow for immediate observation of hot and cold coolant levels. The tank reuses the factory expansion tank cap and includes an overflow nipple on the fill neck for adding an additional coolant tank to meet NHRA requirements.
