Unlike standard elastomer dampers that can fail or harden over time, Fluidampr utilizes a silicone-filled internal inertia ring to provide continuous damping protection. This viscous design reduces wear on main bearings and helps prevent crankshaft failure, particularly in high-torque or competition diesel applications.
Precision-engineered for the 7.3L Ford diesel engine, this externally balanced damper is CNC machined from high-grade steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant black zinc. The unit features laser-engraved timing marks for accurate adjustment and is fully maintenance-free, requiring no tuning or rebuilding throughout its service life.
