The Yukon Gear & Axle YSPCS-015 pinion crush sleeve is a critical component for professional differential service and ring and pinion installation. This sleeve provides the necessary resistance against the pinion nut to properly set and maintain pinion bearing preload. Designed specifically for GM and Chrysler 11.5-inch housings, it ensures the pinion is securely positioned for optimal gear mesh and longevity. Replacing the crush sleeve is mandatory during any service that involves removing the pinion nut to ensure accurate tension.
