The Yukon Gear SK CSTV6 Crush Sleeve Eliminator Kit replaces the standard factory collapsible crush sleeve with a solid spacer and a series of precision-machined shims. While OE crush sleeves are designed for ease of assembly, they can continue to compress under high-torque loads or off-road impacts, leading to a loss of pinion bearing preload and eventual gear failure. This solid spacer setup allows you to set the preload precisely and maintain it permanently, ensuring the longevity of your ring and pinion set.
