This Yukon Gear & Axle Crush Sleeve Eliminator Kit replaces the factory collapsible crush sleeve with a precision-machined solid spacer and shim pack. In high-torque or heavy off-road environments, standard crush sleeves can continue to compress under extreme load, leading to a loss of pinion preload, bearing failure, and gear misalignment. By installing a solid spacer, you ensure that pinion bearing preload remains constant regardless of the stress applied to the drivetrain.

This kit is a preferred upgrade for specialized builds, as it simplifies future maintenance; should a pinion seal need replacement, the solid spacer allows you to torque the pinion nut without the risk of over-crushing or needing to reset the entire gear pattern from scratch.
