The MBRP FS96218 Down Pipe Kit is engineered to eliminate the flow restrictions inherent in the factory exhaust system of your 7.3L Power Stroke. By replacing the flattened OE downpipe with a 3-inch mandrel-bent alternative, this kit helps reduce backpressure and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), which is vital for maintaining engine health during heavy towing and high-load cycles.
Built from rugged T409 stainless steel, this kit is designed to withstand extreme thermal cycles while providing superior corrosion resistance compared to aluminized steel. The mandrel-bent tubing ensures the 3-inch diameter remains consistent through every bend, maximizing exhaust velocity.
