The BMR Suspension DSL017R Front Driveshaft Safety Loop is a critical safety upgrade for drag racing, street, and top-speed applications. Engineered to meet NHRA safety regulations, this loop is designed to contain the driveshaft in the event of a U-joint or transmission failure, preventing the shaft from breaching the floor pan or digging into the track surface. Unlike inferior designs that attach to the transmission, the DSL017R bolts directly to the factory transmission crossmember mounting points using supplied Grade 8 hardware, ensuring the loop remains securely anchored even during a catastrophic drivetrain failure.
- Constructed from heavy-duty 1/4-inch laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel
- Durable red powdercoat finish for long-lasting protection and aesthetics
- 100% bolt-on design utilizes existing factory mounting holes
- Includes all necessary Grade 8 hardware for a secure installation
