This DSS 1-piece aluminum driveshaft is designed to replace the heavy and complex multi-piece factory unit found in early LX and LC platform SRT8 vehicles. Built from 4-inch diameter high-grade aluminum tubing, this shaft offers a significant reduction in rotating mass, which translates to improved throttle response and more efficient power delivery to the rear wheels. The 1-piece design eliminates the center support bearing (carrier bearing), a common point of failure and vibration in high-horsepower applications.
- Precision-balanced for smooth operation and higher critical speed ratings.
- Constructed from 4-inch diameter heavy-wall aluminum.
