This 3-inch aluminum one-piece driveshaft from The Driveshaft Shop (DSS) is engineered to replace the heavy, complex factory two-piece assembly. By eliminating the center carrier bearing and its associated mounting hardware, this upgrade significantly reduces rotating mass and drivetrain parasitic loss. The result is more immediate throttle response and improved acceleration throughout the powerband.
Constructed from high-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, this shaft provides superior strength and weight savings compared to the stock steel components. Each unit is precision-balanced to ensure smooth operation at high RPMs, making it an essential upgrade for both street-driven vehicles and dedicated track cars.
