The Cobb Air Oil Separator (AOS) is a critical performance upgrade designed to maintain the health and efficiency of your EJ-series engine. By intercepting oil vapor from the crankcase ventilation system before it can enter the intake tract, this AOS prevents oil from coating your intercooler cores, intake valves, and combustion chambers. Removing this oil contamination helps maintain effective fuel octane levels and reduces the risk of oil-induced pre-ignition (knock), especially in high-boost applications.
