Standard OE Corvette transmission mounts are designed for comfort, but they often fail under the stress of high-horsepower builds or hard launches. This failure leads to excessive drivetrain deflection, which causes wheel hop and reduced traction. The aFe Control PFADT Series transmission mount set is engineered to solve these issues by replacing soft factory rubber with high-durometer polyurethane bushings, significantly improving vehicle launches and overall drivetrain rigidity.
These mounts are constructed from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with an orange anodized finish for maximum durability. The set features nickel-plated chassis mounts and includes Grade 10.9 hardware to ensure a secure, direct-fit installation. Whether you are running a stock engine or an aggressive cam setup, these mounts provide the stability needed to put power to the ground effectively.
