The Innovate Motorsports 3838 Extended Bung and Plug Kit provides a 1-inch tall mounting solution for wideband O2 sensors. This increased-depth stainless steel weld-in bung is designed for installations requiring reduced sensor heat soak and limited exposure to exhaust gases, effectively extending the service life of the sensor by reducing fouling potential from contaminants.
Constructed from high-grade stainless steel, this kit is the ideal choice for custom stainless exhaust piping where precision air/fuel ratio monitoring is required. The additional depth recesses the sensor tip, protecting it from extreme thermal stress and particulate buildup without sacrificing reading accuracy.
